In order to ensure a healthy game environment where all players can enjoy fair competition during matches and events, we actively monitor players’ behavior in order to ban users who violate our Terms of Service.
Multiple Accounts
Only one account per player is allowed. It is against our Terms of Service to create multiple accounts, or to control and/or operate more than one account.
If our system detects any evidence of you violating this rule, all of the accounts involved will be banned immediately, but you will still retain the ownership of all Gods Unchained NFTs in those accounts.
Bots
Nobody likes playing against bots, so it goes without saying that ANY bot-like behavior is a bannable offense and our detection capabilities mean we will also ban any associated accounts within the bot network.
We’ve been working extra hard to combat the bots in Gods Unchained and have a multitude of tools and monitoring capabilities to detect these accounts, including from the point of sign-up.
Match-Fixing
Competitiveness is in the core nature of Gods Unchained since it creates an environment where all players get to play against each other for the sweet taste of victory and valuable prizes. As a result, it’s a given that harmful behavior like match-fixing is always punished harshly to keep the competition fair and healthy.
Non-Competing Player (NCP)
While NCP accounts were temporarily allowed for a period of time, due to a lack of alternative game modes (which didn’t impact players’ ranks).
However, with the introduction of Casual Mode in October 2022, NCP accounts are no longer required or allowed.
Card Cooldown Rule
Assets sharing is a feature of cryptocurrency, and with Gods Unchained, this is even more enhanced with the gas-free experience powered by Immutable X. However, with the arrival of Daily Play & Earn (DP&E), this raises concern among the community of a possibility where players can transfer cards among their friends in order to gain an unfair advantage in terms of deck strength when participating in the event.
As a result, we have implemented a card cooldown rule that you can read more about here, which helps prevent this from happening.
De-ranking
We understand the frustration when facing an enemy so strong that every move you make may feel futile, and the taste of defeat is never sweet. Therefore, the Concede button is always there as an escape path for you in such situations.
However, abusing it to get yourself down to a lower rank where you can enjoy dominating other players is forbidden, as it grants you an unfair advantage in terms of skills and deck prowess. As a result, we always recommend that you should give it your all in every single game, and only concede in the very last moment when the loss is imminent.
Appeal a ban
If you find yourself banned but think you’re innocent, worry not! You can always reach out to our Support Team through this link and we will review your ban.
This doesn’t guarantee that the ban on your account will be lifted, but it will give us another chance to reconsider players’ cases, give rulebreakers a second chance or avoid false positives, and improve the accuracy and efficiency of our system.
