How to Uninstall the game

Simply uninstalling the Immutable launcher or deleting it on your mac will not fully remove it from your system - additional steps may be required!

 

Clear Cache

Clearing cache might help. Open the game. Navigate over to the settings cog on the top right-hand side of the launcher. Click that and you’ll see a “clear cache” and "clear version" button. Click them. Restart the app

 

Windows

  1. In Control Panel, search for Programs and Features
  2. Select Uninstall a program
  3. Locate Gods Unchained or Immutable
  4. Select Uninstall

Manually remove remaining files

  The following folders have to be manually removed

  1. %localappdata%\GodsUnchained
  2. %localappdata%\Programs\immutable-launcher
  3. %appdata%\..\LocalLow\FuelGames
  4. %appdata%\immutable-launcher 
  5. %UserProfile%\documents\my games\GodsUnchained

Even more remaining files

If you're still continuing to experience problems (such as a "stuck update"), try searching for any other old remaining files located in these folders:

Remove all of the appdata cache from: (note YOURUSERNAME is your PC account name) 

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\GodsUnchained C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Programs\immutable-launcher C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\immutable-launcher C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\FuelGames

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\My Games\GodsUnchained C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Immutable

 

Restart your PC then reinstall the game.

 

Mac:
~/Users/<PC_Name>/Library/GodsUnchained
~/Users/<PC_Name>/Library/Logs/Immutable
Window:
~Users\PC_Name>\AppData\Local\GodsUnchained
~Users\PC_Name>\AppData\LocalLow\Immutable

 

 

Clearing the registry

Sometimes there are remaining windows registry entries that block the new update. 

  1. Try downloading CCleaner
  2. Go to tools > Uninstall
  3. Select Gods Unchained or Immutable
  4. Delete
  5. Restart your PC
  6. Reinstall Gods Unchained

 

Mac OSX

  1. Open Finder

  2. Go to the Applications folder

  3. Find Gods Unchained or Immutable

  4. Delete it by moving it to your Bin and Empty it

Manually removing remaining files

  The following folders have to be removed manually 

  1. /Applications/Immutable.app
  2. /Users/<USER>/Library/GodsUnchained/
  3. /Users/<USER>/Library/Application Support/Immutable-launcher/
