What is a wallet?

Wallets act much like wallets in the real world – they hold any of your digital items, whether they are cards, boards, trinkets, $ETH, $GODS, or anything else you may come across in Gods Unchained or on the blockchain!

If you purchase cards, Forge cards, or trade currencies to and from your account, they are all recorded on the Blockchain publicly via your wallet. Every wallet has a unique wallet ID, which is what links your digital assets to you.

Do I need a wallet to play Gods Unchained?

While you can play Gods Unchained without ever needing a wallet, you’ll need one in order to unlock the full potential and own your cards as NFTs or earn $GODS rewards! Only you have access to your wallet, and you will need to connect your Wallet to your Gods Unchained account by following the steps below. 

A Gods Unchained account can be linked with multiple wallets, however, only one out of those wallets can be set as "default". If you link more than one wallet to your Gods Unchained account, it’s important to assign your default wallet so any rewards you receive are sent to the right place.

Also, it is impossible to link one wallet to multiple Gods Unchained accounts because users' assets are tied to their specific accounts and this helps to stop multiple users from using the same cards all at the same time. 

Which wallets are supported by Gods Unchained?

There are many different types of wallets but we've found MetaMask to be one of the most popular and trusted wallets, which is compatible with many chains including Ethereum and Immutable.

MetaMask has a browser extension that allows you to easily interact with Gods Unchained while you're busy in the Forge or claiming your latest $GODS rewards.
